Michael is a certified Linux and Mac OS X system administrator. He has six total Apple (10.6) certifications (system administrator, support professional, technical coordinator, security & mobility, directory services, and deployment) and two Linux designations (CompTIA Linux+ and Linux Professional Institute LPIC-1).

As a software engineer and avid technologist, Michael registered as an iOS developer at the very beginning of the Apple iTunes store launch for users to download apps. Since then, he has gained global recognition for his apps on the iOS, Mac OS X, Android, and Windows platforms. Apps have been downloaded by users from six continents representing over 50 countries around the world. A representative portfolio of his apps is available online.

Michael also provides technical consulting services to assist clients with standard programming languages and database administration. Software has been written in Python, Java, and C/C++ among others. Web development has utilized HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Database administration and software connectivity has involved MySQL, MongoDB, and FileMaker.

He has applied an intellectual property mindset for data analytics to fully understand how companies can capitilize on the enormous amount of data being collected every day (i.e. retail transactions). He has used the scientific and mathematical capabilities in the Python programming language and visual spreadsheet tools available in Microsoft Excel to solve business and engineering challenges.
